Cold sheet metal stamping

At UGS, we specialise in the cold stamping of sheet metal using mechanical and hydraulic presses. These tools are designed to transfer the energy required to blank or deform the sheet metal to be processed.

About

What is sheet metal cold stamping?

The COLD STAMPING of sheet metal is a mechanical process involving the drawing of either a sheet of flat metal or metal from coils. This method allows for the production of objects with various geometric shapes, such as drawn parts, bent or flat/blanked parts.

During cold stamping of the sheet metal, the material undergoes plastic deformation through the use of hydraulic mechanical presses that are fed automatically. This process results in high-quality mechanical components, as there are no structural changes in the metal, which retains its mechanical characteristics and strength.

AT UGS, WE SPECIALISE IN THE COLD STAMPING of sheet metal using mechanical and hydraulic presses. These tools are designed to transfer the energy required to blank or deform the sheet metal to be processed.

This technique is used in various industrial sectors and is adapted to the specific needs of each customer. It can be performed by automated stamping lines, which are ideal for processing large volumes of sheet metal, or using manual systems for operations requiring greater precision.

The Sectors

We manufacture components and accessories for:
