Sheet metal laser cutting

The laser cutting of sheet metal is an extremely precise and fundamental process used in the production of high-quality metal products and finished products. This advanced technique is performed using numerically controlled machinery and guarantees outstanding precision and accuracy.

About

What it is and how the laser cutting of sheet metal works

At UGS, precision laser cuts begin with a CAM design phase in which our Engineering Department works with the customer to develop the desired design. We then move on to the phase of performing laser cutting directly on the sheet metal, taking advantage of technologically advanced, state-of-the-art machines.

OUR DEPARTMENT IS EQUIPPED WITH THE TECHNOLOGY NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT ANY TYPE OF LASER CUTTING OF METAL, from simple to complex. It consists of 2 latest-generation machines, a 3000-watt and a 6000-watt machine, both fibre lasers, with cutting ranges of 3000 mm x 1500 mm and a maximum thickness of 20 mm.

This allows us to respond effectively to specific customer requirements, both in terms of technical drawing and the use of the semi-finished part.

We carry out laser cutting on iron, stainless steel and aluminium, guaranteeing flawless results on sheet metal of various thicknesses. Our laser machines enable us to achieve clean, precise cuts, offering superior quality products for use in a WIDE RANGE OF INDUSTRIES, INCLUDING ELECTROMECHANICAL, MEDICAL, LIGHTING, VENDING AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES AND KITCHEN ROBOTS.

We are committed to providing customised solutions, guaranteeing a precision finish to meet the different needs of our customers and offering high-quality end products.

LASER MARKING

A brand-new system allows us to meet all laser marking requirements for metal, steel, or plastic components across a wide range of industries, for example throughout the household appliance sector.

The worktable allows processing on maximum dimensions of 1100×770 mm.
