Sheet metal deep drawing
Deep drawing is a precise and reliable forming technique that transforms sheet metal into three-dimensional elements with various shapes.
How we do it
In our work, we focus on drawing the following workable metals:
- Stainless steel deep-drawing
- Aluminum deep-drawing
- Deep-drawing iron
The deep drawing process we use is always cold forming, which allows us to make metal components such as cylinders and hemispherical caps, as well as finished products such as cooktops or other types of containers.
With our precise and reliable procedures, we are able to achieve high-quality results and meet the needs of various industries.
The Deep Drawing Process In UGS
At UGS, the sheet metal deep drawing process begins with a crucial step of designing and producing the specific die for the desired shape.
Once the mold is prepared, the sheet metal is placed in the mold and then subjected to the deforming force of hydraulic presses. Through this process, we precisely achieve the desired shape without creating wrinkles or imperfections on the material.
As with other processing, we perform the metal drawing process using dies designed in-house. This enables us to achieve excellent results in terms of accuracy and quality of the deep-drawn part. We also offer a customized mold design and construction service, enabling our customers to realize their specific requirements with professionalism and precision. Our ability to design and produce molds in-house enables us to meet the unique needs of each customer, ensuring customized solutions and high-quality products.
UGS, which specializes in metalwork, can make deep drawing with various types of materials:
- Deep drawing of stainless steel and aluminum
- Iron drawing
By leveraging our in-house experience and capability in mold design and construction, we can guarantee excellent results and customized solutions for our customers’ diverse needs. With deep drawing, we offer high-quality, durable and reliable products to meet a wide range of industrial applications.
