U.G.S. OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1987 by Silvano Felet, U.G.S. began as a small workshop that did cold sheet metal stamping for other firms. With the help of his son Massimo, the current CEO of the company, over the years, it has been able to diversify its product range and expand its range. Today, U.G.S. is a company specialising in COLD STAMPING OF SHEET METAL, BENDING AND WELDING OF COMPONENTS, ASSEMBLY OF PRODUCTS AND DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF STAMPING DIES FOR A VARIETY OF INDUSTRIAL SECTORS. It is a company in continuous evolution, which today employs x people, who are driven by a passion for their work, with a single objective: customer satisfaction.
In 2005, U.G.S. expanded its production organisation, opening a new site in Romania, MEKAPRESS SA, which handles similar production lines and follows customers operating outside Italy.The Mekapress facility in Satumare covers an area of approximately 2,000 m2. It has 8 presses with a maximum capacity of 300 tonnes that serve mainly the domestic and automotive sectors. Mekapress is ISO 9001/2008 certified, has its own quality, purchasing and logistics structure and employs 12 people.
